Here is the brand new full-length trailer to the upcoming Paramount action flick The Last Airbender. The studio has released two other previous versions but this by far tells the most story. Although based off a kid’s cartoon, it’s clear they are trying to age it up as much as possible. Movie hits theaters July 2nd.

50 Cent x Caught in the Crossfire. Here’s the trailer to the cop action flick Caught In The Crossfire produced and starring 50 cent under his Cheetah Vision production company. This was the film that was shooting in Grand Rapids, Michigan a couple of months back. Although it was picked up by Lionsgate for distribution, unfortunately, we can confirm at this time the movie will be going straight to DVD similar to 50′s last film Streets of Blood. 50 is suddenly becoming the equivalent of Wesley Snipes with all these direct-to-DVDs he’s churning out.

The April/May issue of UPTOWN features Common and Queen Latifah as they promote the new movie, Just Wright which hits theaters on May 14.

Plies x Goon Affiliated. Who knew the goon had it in him? Plies has concocted a rather unique countdown promotion leading to the release of his new album on May 25th. For 25 days prior, Plies will be giving away pretty useful prizes such as house mortgages, health insurance and college tuition through a phone based promotion.

Fans can call the toll-free hot line 866-983-2111 from May 1 to May 25, and if Plies picks up the phone, the caller will win one of the prizes mentioned above or an iPad, jewelry from Plies’ personal collection and God knows what else. Interesting choice by Electronic Arts to use this as their first public trailer but the emphasis is clear they want to position Madden 11 as a completely new game. This is something they need to do considering fans of the franchise are starting to grow weary which would be a financial disaster for EA. Newer trailers with more excitement will be on their way shortly. For now you get this one.

Biz Markie x Earth Day. At least he is using the song for a better cause than Heineken or Radio Shack this time. Biz Markie takes his classic “Just a Friend” and gives it a nice remix with all new lyrics in celebration of Earth Day today. Could this be the most exploited song of the past two years? Not sure how official these really are. This teaser trailer looks more like a low budget high school production and shows more shots of baseball cards than these official hip-hop cards. But ummm…judge for yourself. Can’t wait to get that Kriss Kross rookie card.
