Vevo is taking their online music video service marketing efforts to the next level by starting artist exclusive previews and viral clips to seed their upcoming exclusive videos on Vevo. Because the online site is a joint partnership with Universal, Sony and EMI, it is able to get plenty of dedicated artist support to push the platform.

The long term longevity in the site though will depend on how well it can survive without it’s partnership with YouTube which is currently driving most of the traffic. Check the first of these dedicated artist clips starting with Ciara and the upcoming video “Ride” ft. Ludacris.
