T.I. opens up to Larry King about what led to his arrest and gun charges as he was interviewed on “Larry King Live” last night. Here is just a clip from the interview but I’m sure someone will have the entire interview ripped and on the net in no time. For those who saw the interview, T.I. answered most of the questions straight up…that is of course until Larry asked him “Have you ever shot a gun at anyone?”

Skullcandy partners up with Jay-Z and Roc Nation for a multi-year headphone collaboration project. Both brands will collaborate in the marketing as well as the creative direction of all merchandise. Their first product “Roc Nation Aviator” headphones will be available in June at a price point of $150.

Skullcandy is competing with Monster Beats and both promise to push new levels of style and sound in the marketplace and redefine the music listening experience but which brand will gain more market share?

Simply titled Nina, the film will tell the life story of the legendary singer Nina Simone. Of course every major actress and singer lined up for this coveted role but in the end it was no contest. According to Variety, Mary J. Blige has landed the lead as Nina as the film will explore her relationship with her assistant Clifton Henderson.

The $10 million biopic will begin shooting in France in September. Congrats to Mary J. in landing such a big role…this is hopefully just the start for a bigger film career for the talented musician.

BET’s “Tiny & Toya” has developed a strong following lately but that won’t stop T.I. Rumor has it that he is so disgusted with the show that he wants BET to pull it from the air immediately. The show stars T.I.’s wife Tiny and Lil Wayne’s ex Toya. Apparently Tip was never down for the show from the beginning but let Tiny have her day in the spotlight and let her do it. But after watching episodes in prison he was embarrassed how BET portrayed Tiny and his kids.

T.I. has not released any official statement on this so we can’t say it’s neither true or false but it does sound warranted. Only thing is the show is pulling in ratings for BET so expect a battle or something to be worked out quick.

The Dirty Money crew releases their new music video off The Last Train to Paris. “Hello Good Morning” is the 3rd single from the album and  features Rick Ross and T.I…from the looks of it seems like their video budgets increased since joining Interscope.

Dr. Jays has some up-and-coming heavy hitters for their new Summer Sensations 2010 campaign. First Dr. Jays enlists Waka Flocka for their campaign and now newly signed Interscope artist Yelawolf joins in on the modeling fun. Marth Stewart loves to have hip-hop artists on her show to prove her “cool/edgy” side. Past guest have included everyone from Snoop making Cognac mashed potatoes to doing origami with Ludacris. So it was no surprise when Big Boi showed up to “The Martha Stewart Show” and got to the grilling….literally. The two of them grilled some lobster together. Just watching this makes me hungry.
