Looking pretty tame considering her latest looks, Rihanna covers the latest issue of ELLE Magazine.

Sony Screen Gems has just released this new updated trailer to Takers which really sets up the story well as a big time cops vs. robbers action flick.

Those Chris Brown fans will be happy to know he is part of the marketing campaign…this new trailer also features T.I.’s single “Yeah U Know” which is the unofficial Takers theme song.

Supporting yesterday’s announce of DJ Hero 2, Activision now releases the official trailer. You won’t notice too big of a difference compared to the original DJ Hero except for the use of a corresponding second turntable and microphone to do annoying DJ-like chants over the music. DJ Hero 2 is set for a Fall release.

Michael Jae White stars as Jax in Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. This 8 minute preview is packed with pure awesomeness including quick back stories of Reptile and Baraka, a fight between Baraka and Johnny Cage and some nice appearances by Sonia Blade and Scorpion. Forget about those cheesy Mortal Kombat films we grew up with…Rebirth looks like it’s going to deliver. FINISH HIM!

Activision has announced that DJ Hero 2 is set to release this Fall with an emphasis on making the DJ experience more real. Consumers can purchase the new “Party Pack” which will include two turntables and a mic where you can mix, battle and rap all at the same time.

“DJ Hero was the best music game of 2009 and with DJ Hero 2 we’re delivering a new easy to pick-up, challenging-to-master experience that all players can enjoy together,” said David Haddad, Chief Operating Office, Guitar Hero. “With new social game modes, the inclusion of full microphone support, all-new levels of creative freedom and an amazing soundtrack, DJ Hero 2 is the ultimate mixer of music and friends.”

Music will include tracks from Dr. Dre, The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Metallica, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and over 85 others and you can also play as multiple new in-game playable characters including…ahem…RZA. The game will also feature an all-new career-based Empire Mode where players start out as an up-and-coming DJ on the road to becoming the head of a major entertainment empire, all of which is founded solely on their success as a DJ. Pharrell has teamed with the biggest music composer in film history, Hans Zimmer, for the launch of UJAM, “a new technology platform which everyone can use to compose, produce, and publish their own music.” They both go into detail into how UJAM will work in this intro video.
