This should be the equivalent of a couple of nickels and dimes for the man but Jay-Z is being sued over $250K in unpaid fees for private jets from Air Platinum Holdings. According to TMZ, Jay owes the company for unpaid time spent using the private planes as well as a laundry list of misc. fees including:

– 18 hours of flight time at $4,500-per-hour (discounted from $6,000-per-hour) … $81,000
– Catering for 17 domestic flights ($500-per-flight) …. $8,500
– Catering for 4 international flights ($750-per-flight) … $3,000
– International fees … $8,500
– Taxes …  $12,285
– Luxury trip to England … $24,200

We just got the drop that casting sessions for the upcoming N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton are starting right here in Los Angeles and will continue throughout the summer. Our sources can confirm that the character of Eazy-E will be a pivotal role in the film and early casting focus is centered around him.

While there have been rumors that Eazy-E’s real-life son, Eric Wright Jr. (Lil Eazy-E), will play his father in the film, the producers of the film and New Line Cinema are going to conduct thorough casting calls and sessions for the role as normal procedure. And who will play Ice Cube? Dr. Dre? We can confirm at this point anything you hear is purely rumors.

No official casting decisions will be made until after this summer at the earliest. In the meantime…any suggestions on who should play the members of NWA?

Her “Forever” perfume and “M” were both positioned as upscale / sophisticated but from the looks of the “Lollipop Bling” retail displays, she is going for a more fun and youthful feel.

The perfume line will come in three versions, “Ribbon,” “Honey,” and “Mine Again” and will be available next month.

In just under a year since his death, Michael Jackson’s estate has earned over $783 million off of his music, films and publishing rights. A majority of the profits come from the multi-platform Sony deal across the music and film divisions. This Is It grossed over $260 million worldwide in theaters, but this does not account for lucrative TV and cable distribution deals. On top of that, home entertainment sales for the film were particularly strong even during a down economy.

Some thought that this was an urban legend. The “all chrome everything” Bentley Continental GT…which has nothing on Jeezy’s “All White Everything.” Now the legend is true as the all-chrome Continental was recently spotted in Russia of all places.
