Twitter users might be aware of the anti-Soulja Boy campaign that popped up called #ifsouljaboysarapper where Tweets really rip into Souja Boy’s credibility as a rapper. Some examples included:
-ifsouljaboysarapper then Gucci Mane should become the spokesperson for chapstick.
-IfSouljaBoysARapper than Justin Bieber is actually cutee (Dinaaa(:
-ifsouljaboysarapper then the Clippers will make it to the finals !
-ifsouljaboysarapper then Yungberg aint goin to get chain snatched
The one about the Clippers is particularly hurtful to us since we live here in LA. Apparently the anti-Soulja Boy campaign really hit Soulja Boy hard and he actually deleted his official Twitter account even though he was getting paid a rumored $10,000 per Tweet! Yes…$10K a Tweet. So when Soulja Boy eventually gets back on Twitter and his status updates include “tying ma shooos right now” or “eatinz some mcnuggets” you will have lost 30 seconds of your life reading his updates and he will have gained $20,000. Ah America. I’m lovin’ it.

They did go hard on him. I didn’t participate other than to say I hope that he uses the criticism to finally challenge himself lyrically. Quite frankly I thought he should’ve taken that into consideration during the Ice T YouTube videos (yes, regardless of what Boondocks Season 3 showcased). He has to know he’s not challenging himself lyrically. I don’t think that should be news to him. But I know that had to hurt. *shrug*
Wow is this an actual Soulja Boy fan? I didnt know they really existed. Thought they were a myth like Bigfoot.
Ok Soulja Boy might be a kid still but he is a celebrity and he gets paid a lot. Part of that comes with taking criticism and getting trashed by other people. Man up Soulja Boy!
WAT UP MY NIGGA
I heard Kim Kardashian gets paid the same too. Twitter celebs is a sham!
Wish I could make that kind of money!
[...] it worth Kanye’s time. Although it’s not confirmed, other artists and celebrities allegedly can make over $10K per Tweet. Kanye must have finally been happy with his final deal with Twitter [...]
