Kanye West visits King Tut museum exhibit wearing $300K Horus chain

Kanye is going strong on the whole Egyptian theme these days. First the $300K Horus chain that he wore at the BET Awards and now his visit to the “Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs” exhibition at the Discovery Times Square Exposition in New York City…wearing his $300K Horus chain. What’s the point? None really. You don’t need a point when you are Kanye West. You just need plenty of extreme V-neck t-shirts. Via: TheRap-Up

Eminem set for third straight week at #1 on Billboard Charts

Straight from Billboard:

Unless something awfully crazy happens, next week Eminem’s “Recovery” will be the first album to notch three consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 since March. That’s when Sade’s “Soldier of Love” wrapped a three-week run atop the list. Industry prognosticators expect “Recovery” to easily hold in the penthouse, as none of this week’s new releases will pose a threat to its chart supremacy.

The “awfully crazy” would be if Big Boi’s highly anticipated Sir Lucious Leftfoot was somehow able to move more than 150K units. Right now it’s projected to sell around 50K for the first week.

50 Cent starts online war with Diddy

50 Cent takes things a bit further with his recent spat with Diddy by starting an online petition for Diddy to stop exploiting the name of Notorious B.I.G. for profit. It’s going to be interesting to see where this ends up. Perhaps a full blown out Twitter fight or YouTube brawl. Via: RealTalkNY
