Since Chris Brown’s music career is pretty much shot maybe he should try being an actor full-time. T.I. had nothing but praise for CB’s acting chops in the upcoming action flick Takers.
“Chris was cool, man. I think Chris gonna impress a lot of people,” Tip told Power 106. “He does a lot of high performance, action sequences. He shows his ability. I think people will actually be presently surprised with his performance.”
Luckily none of these action sequences required Chris to beat other people up. Instead he does a lot of running and jumping off roof tops and cars. Check the trailer to see what we mean.

First of all, let me say this. Chris Brown is definitely a fine actor. He is blessed with many talents. Second of all, why should Chris Brown’s singing career be shot? If his singing career is shot based on the terms I believe you are referring to; Then his acting and dancing career should be over also. Or are you one of those journalists who joins the band wagon and repeat what most journalists say. There is one thing of many I like to have to my words. That is merit. If there was any kind of merit to what you said then the article would have said Since Chris Brown’s hollywood career is pretty much shot. Why should we be able to watch him act on the movie screen and not hear his voice over the radio. I would think one would prefer the voice over actually seeing the face. All in all, I do not believe Chris Brown’s singing career is over. I believe he is a good person who has done a very bad thing. I really hope he learns that abuse is not the answer. He is definitely one of many guys his age who believes it is okay to hit someone, if they provoke you to that anger level. I am not happy that Rhianna’s was abused, I am happy she reported him to the police for two reasons. One being so other women that are going through what she had gone through, know that you can tell someone (Preferable the police)and every thing will be all right. Two, so Chris Brown can get the help he needs while he is young and going through that transition from being a boy to a man. Usually, people who have been to the lowest of low and learn their lesson turn out to be one of many great people. One reason being, is they can relate to the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. I believe, Chris Brown is learning a lot of lessons. I believe Chris Brown will be alright. I believe Chris Brown will be a great husband and a great father someday. Honestly, that is what really matters in this world: family, friends and lasting relationships. Not being a singer, actor or celebrity. Because eventually that will come to an end for everyone. In a decade or so, we will be cheering the next star until they break one of our hypocritical laws of being a celebrity. I believe Chris Brown will grow to be a great man because of his lessons learned. And that is what separate boys from men the lessons learned. Lessons are not learned from being naturally a good person or when you are born. Because we all have skeletons in our closet or on front street. Lessons are learned through living your life. Why don’t journalist write an article in reference to celebrity issues like this with a question of this nature: Have you ever done something bad in your life, that you are glad only a few people know about. or Have you ever done something bad in your life, that you still till this day believe it was not wrong. That is just my 50 cents.

Yes, President Barack Obama. One the world knows of and that is his confession of smoking marijuana. It is okay for him to confess that, since it is something of the past. However, if he was caught in the White House smoking on a pipe, that would have been another story. Plus, that is why Rhianna has all of sudden went from good girl image to bad girl image. Because Jay-Z understands that she is no Beyonce and she is bound to do something neurotic, so when she does – her fans and the media will not be shocked or surprised. If you are a smart business man like Jay Z, you know how to decide the fans temperature for them. If I am not mistaken, I believe Rhianna was thrown out of a hotel for setting off smoke detector alarms due to her smoking on a pipe. The source says the info came from Media Out take, but you can not trust their info. I said to myself -oh yeah- you obviously, trust enough to report it. Plus, I bet if it was a story on Chris Brown, that person probably would believe it. Why don’t journalist write an article in reference to celebrity issues like this with a question of this nature? Have you ever done something bad in your life, that you are glad only a few people know about? or Have you ever done something bad in your life, that you still till this day believe it was not wrong.? sunshine, agree with you 100% this is
what i’m talking about i
I am so inclined to agree with Sunshine ( above). Chris Brown made a mistake. In my opinion, I feel that this (Rihanna) is/was an isolated incident and that it will NEVER happen again. I feel that he will make a great husband and father in spite of the mistake he made. We all make mistakes. We all have imperfections (many varying in degrees) and we all err. The key is to learn from your mistakes, apply what you have learned and grow. Do not stay ‘in the moment’ and “do not let your life be defined by the mistake”. That is what they tried to do to Chris Brown. They tried to break that man down. Thank you GOD for the strenght that you provided him, for he is a young man, and the average young man would have broken under such intense scrutiny. Yet, he bounced back. If you think for one second that this multi-talented young man’s music career is over, think again, because baby, the man is going places. He is destined for greatness. Yes, for greatness. Have you ever made a mistake in your life? A bad choice? We all have (at some point or another). Let him learn from his mistake so that he can grow and go on and live his life. I have never spoken on Rihanna but I read an interesting article the other day (the article was old) and the article was in Essence or something. Anyway the woman was commenting on the 20/20 Rihanna interview. The woman (who is a domestic abuse counselor for the past 19 years)stated that she could tell by Rihanna’s body language and all of the rest of the non-communicative signs that she was not revealing all. She was hiding something. I am glad this domestic mess was brought to the forefront for one main reason: so that Chris Brown could get the help that he needed, because had this isolated incident not occurred, Chris Brown would not have gotten the help he needed. I know that it is hard for many of you to fathom but Chris Brown was a victim too. I am not talking from Rihanna’s standpoint (though he probably was a victim at some point or another(her slapping him around), but he was a victim (he was just a child) when he saw his mother beaten for such a long period of time. The cycle would have probable repeated itself. Trust me, he was dead wrong for hitting her, dead wrong, so do not think I am making excuses for his behavior, because I am not. He made a mistake. NOTE: PARENTS: BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU SAY AND DO IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILDREN, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG, AS THEY CAN EASILY BECOME A PRODUCT OF THEIR ENVIROMENT, AND THEY OFTEN DO. Rihanna said that she has found balance in her life. Allow Chris Brown to get on with his life and find balance as well. They have both been though enough. He has redeemed himself. Let this man grow and become the man GOD intended him to be. I believe he has honestly learned from his mistakes. This young man needs proper guidance, as all young folk do. Stop belittling him and offer him support. I am not asking for you all to support the mistake that he made, support him as a young man who made a horrible mistake and is trying to move past that point so that he can get on with his life. Don’t allow this mistake to define Chris Brown, because that is not who he is. I honestly believe that Chris Brown is a good and decent young man who made a mistake. He has taken responsilibity and has been held accountable for his actions. He has apologized countless times. What more do you want from him? His blood? A guest pastor who visited my church said it best: keep your eyes out of the rearview mirror and focus on the windshield. Do you hear me, CB? You have fans that really love you, and I am one of them. May Good Bless you and provide you with the guidance and the strenght that you need. My prayers are always with you.
Oh no. The CB lovers are back. Good luck Yeti.
@TARN All comments are good comments? Allow me to write my dissertation on the rules of forgiveness in the hip hop world…
Everyones has a right to their own opinion, but don’t mean it’s right. Now let’s see here, unless the writer of this article is God…. then you don’t know what the future hold for yourself let alone Chris Brown…. because you see man cannot determine what God has for Chris Brown, me or you!!!
i agree
wow does it take u guys all day to write these stories… ppl jus nee 2 mind their business cause noone knows the whole thruth to the rihanna n chris brown story… n that their business so y do they ppl have 2 be all up in it so much… ppl should stop talkin shit n go find sumthing better better 2 do wit their life instead of talking about rihanna n chris brown’s… live ur life n mind ur own business n let em deal with their freaking problem
T.I. is a horrible actor. He is a script reader and sounds like a robot. You could have found a better person to play his role and could of paid him a lot less and had better performance.
