Black Eyed Peas “I Gotta Feeling” best selling digital download single IN HISTORY

I think it’s a requirement if you are a hip-hop blogger to bash the Black Eyed Peas. BEP sucks. Ok now moving on to more important things, like the millions of dollars they are making from fans who are somehow out there in the world. BEP now has the pretty high distinction of having the best selling digital download single in the history of mankind. The song we love to hate, “I Gotta Feeling,” has sold over 6 million digital downloads. That’s insane.

“This is an incredible accomplishment for us,” said Taboo.  “Of all the exciting news that has happened to us over the past year, reaching this 6 million mark with ‘I Gotta Feeling’ stands out as one of our proudest achievements.”

Love em or hate em, you can’t deny this is a pretty big accomplishment and even though us hip-hop bloggers might not like em it’s pretty clear suburban moms and teens from around the world do.
