As part of his promotions and publicity campaign for the upcoming comedy Lottery Ticket, Bow Wow will be donning the signature black and white stripes of a Foot Locker employee and will be working a shift at the sneaker store today at the 120 W. 34th St. location in New York. In the film, Bow Wow’s character is a Foot Locker employee who finds out he’s holding a winning lottery ticket worth $350 million dollars. Foot Locker is an official partner in the film which includes ample branding coverage in the film and outside promotions like the one going on today. Lottery Ticket hits theaters Aug. 20th.

Now this is one market that hip-hop moguls like Diddy, Jay-Z and 50 Cent have not yet exploited…potato chips. But looks like good Ol’ Dirty Bastard aka Dirt McGirt got on the action before his death. It’s official. 50 Cent’s G-Unit label has now officially signed with EMI Music, finally leaving their recent tumultuous relationship with Interscope Records. Lloyd Banks announced on MTV that the first album under the G-Unit x EMI partnership will be his album Hunger For More 2 which is scheduled for release on November 23 followed by Tony Yayo’s next album.
“It’s refreshing to see the EMI staff excited about my project, they have the passion and energy I haven’t seen in while,” said Banks of the new deal.
“The EMI staff is creative and willing to think outside the box. They are fans of my music and career,” added Tony Yayo. “I’m looking forward to marketing and promoting my upcoming album with them.”
Under the deal, G-Unit artists will be marketed and distributed by EMI staff but solo albums released by 50 Cent are still under Interscope control.
