It’s official. 50 Cent’s G-Unit label has now officially signed with EMI Music, finally leaving their recent tumultuous relationship with Interscope Records. Lloyd Banks announced on MTV that the first album under the G-Unit x EMI partnership will be his album Hunger For More 2 which is scheduled for release on November 23 followed by Tony Yayo’s next album.

“It’s refreshing to see the EMI staff excited about my project, they have the passion and energy I haven’t seen in while,” said Banks of the new deal.

“The EMI staff is creative and willing to think outside the box. They are fans of my music and career,” added Tony Yayo. “I’m looking forward to marketing and promoting my upcoming album with them.”

Under the deal, G-Unit artists will be marketed and distributed by EMI staff but solo albums released by 50 Cent are still under Interscope control.
