PICS: Drake x Kodak TV commercial

Drake has been raking in millions of dollars the past year in promotional partnership money from Sprite to Virgin Air. In just a short time his face has been plastered on soda bottles and airplanes around the world…something not even the big doggs like 50 Cent or Jay-Z can claim. Well now Drake can add Kodak to his growing list of corporate endorsers. Here are shots of Drake filming at New York’s Radio City Music Hall last week. Commercial is expected to air on TV in a few months. More pics after the jump…

PICS: 7-Eleven launches Snoop Dogg themed coffee cups

The Dogg Father has secured a major promotion with 7-Eleven that will be sure to strengthen the Snoop Dogg brand and take it to new heights. 7-Eleven, Inc. has brought on Snoop Dogg as the fourth designer in their “Coffee Cup With A Cause” charity program, with proceeds benefiting Snoop’s Youth Football League.

“We’ve been running this league for six years now with more than 3,500 kids participating in that time, but our partnership with 7-Eleven’s ‘Coffee Cup with A Cause’ program is huge for us,” Snoop said. “It means many good things are in store for the players, and the league can reach out to more kids and touch more lives.”

The Snoop Dogg coffee cups are currently available nation-wide in all 7-Eleven stores. The more that are bought, the more donations that 7-Eleven will make to Snoop’s football league so make sure to pick up a cup and support Snoop…it’s for the children.

Trick Daddy’s Autobiography “Magic City: Trials of a Native Son”

Jay-Z and Soulja Boy aren’t the only hip hop artist with books coming out. Trick Daddy is releasing his autobiography Magic City: Trails of a Native Son on November 16 via MTV Books

Magic City: Trials of a?Native Son, chronicles Trick Daddy’s story against the backdrop of?Miami, the Magic City. It is an extraordinary story, of a childhood marked by poverty, a crime-laden adolescence, an incarceration, a meteoric rise to fame, and a struggle with a potentially fatal medical condition. It’s the story of a boy whose father was a pimp; who, left to his own devices, learned to hustle to survive and whose only role model was his brother, the drug dealer he watched plying his trade on the block. But while his story is remarkable, the most astonishing part is that he is not only still alive, but that he got out.

Soulja Boy talks upcoming book “Teenage Millionaire”

It’s safe to assume Soulja Boy had A LOT of help writing his upcoming book, “Teenage Millionaire,” based on hearing him speak in interviews. Yea so what, he’s a product of a crappy school system but he’s sitting on millions. Soulja Boy gives us a little more detail about what we can expect from his first book.

“It talks about me making my first million dollars at 17 years old.  I talk about how my life changed. It talks about the music industry, everything I learned about the music industry — how I got into the music industry with my mind set, all the ins and outs that I go through. All the chapters break down my beliefs and what steps and methods I took to get in this position. I just go and break [them] down into detail. I just want all my fans to read it when my album drops and have a good read and feel where I’m coming from.”

“Teenage Millionaire” will release next month in conjunction with his new album.

TRAILER: “13″ w/ 50 Cent, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham

Here is the new trailer to the thriller 13 starring 50 Cent, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham and Ray Liotta. This is not the sequel to 50′s other movie Twelve. Movie is based off the French original that follows a man who assumes a dead man’s identity and “finds himself embroiled in an underground world of power, violence,” and a Russian-roulette-style competition where the losers truly lose everything. 50′s Cheetah Vision production company is not involved so you actually might see this one hit theaters in the U.S. Sorry…only the French Russian version is out right now. But isn’t it funny to see 50 speaking French Russian (0:56)?
