Kanye hoped to complete his dark, twisted fantasy with this artwork that has officially been banned in the US for being too “obscene.” Major retailers, specifically Wal-Mart, refused to carry the CD in stores with this art. Kanye will be providing alternate “safer” artwork for the U.S. market. Even Kanye has to bow down to the power of Wal-Mart as the retailer accounts for over 50% of all physical music sales.
Um this album art is what I call a PR student. When has Kanye ever put out any single art that looked like this???
this album has an amazing PR Machine behind it… If it fails it’s all on him b/c it is clear that his label supports him 100% .
Personally i think his music deserves the praise and I can’t wait to buy the album art.
