VIDEO: Nicole Scherzinger sings Bond theme song for “Goldeneye” video game
The next 007 movie might be delayed until MGM figures out their financial situation but that doesn’t stop the gaming world from getting their dose of Bond. And what better way to introduce the new Goldeneye game for the Wii than having Nicole Scherzinger sing the theme song.
“I absolutely love all the Bond music. I think it creates this whole other world,” stated Nicole. “James Bond and the Bond girls are just the epitome of cool.”
Listen to the song in the Goldeneye intro in the above vid and check out Nicole behind the scenes after the jump…

Cash Money launches Cash Money Content book company

Looks like Birdman was finally spitting the truth about a business deal. A couple weeks ago he went on record (see video) stating Cash Money was working on a deal to launch a book company under publishing juggernaut Simon & Schuster. Now the deal is in place with the introduction of Cash Money Content and their first books Iceberg Slim’s memoir Pimp, Wahida Clark’s Justify My Thug, and Raw Law: An Urban Guide to Criminal Justice.
“We think we can do more, market books in a new way,” Bryan “Birdman” Williams told the Wall Street Journal. “We want to put out five or six books a year.”
Birdman and company plan to market their books the same way they marketed their music…starting from the streets.
“You’re going to see TV commercials, billboards, and plenty of YouTube videos featuring artists and writers talking about books,” Cash Money’s business manager Vernon Brown added. “Our books will also be sold at our concerts. When you’re out in front of 18,000 people, some will buy books, some not. But right now many of those fans aren’t being told what books are great. We’ll do that.”
Will be interesting to see if Lil Wayne’s jail house journal will also be included under the Cash Money Content banner. Look out for the first book coming this February.

Kanye West keeps brand strong by headlining Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

What better way to tell America you are as wholesome as Apple Pie than by performing at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Kanye and his PR team have actually done a good job of repairing his image since Swiftgate at the MTV VMAs and now Kanye is ready to tell Middle-America and everyone else who actually watches the parade that he loves them. The Associated Press announced today that Kanye will be one of the main artists performing at the annual event. No word yet on what he has planned but don’t be surprised if he was on a float carrying a giant size balloon of himself.
Lil Wayne plans to turn journal written in jail into book

There is a nice big phat article on Yahoo! today about Lil Wayne’s stardom and popularity still going strong despite his over eight months behind bars. It talks about his album I Am Not A Human Being at #1, his blog as a way to connect to fans and how Cash Money had an actual strategy implemented to ensure Weezy’s success while in jail.
“The challenge was to make sure you feel like he never left,” says Bryan “Birdman” Williams, the Cash Money Records co-founder who has fostered Lil Wayne’s career since the rapper’s teens. “We came with a good strategy, and it worked.”
What’s even more interesting is that Cash Money potentially has found a way to make even more money off Weezy’s stint. It’s no secret that left in solitary confinement, Weezy turned to writing in a journal to get his thoughts out. Word is after Weezy is set free he plans to take his journal and publish it in its entirety. It’s actually a pretty cool marketing hook when you think about it. He’s probably crazier off of the lean than on it.
