VIDEO: T-Pain Introduces “I Am T-Pain Mic”

T-Pain introduces the I Am T-Pain Mic at the Consumer Electronics Show this past week, similar to the I Am T-Pain App the microphone is built by toy company Jakks Pacific. The auto-tune mic will go on sale for $39.99 and will be available in stores by June/July.

Video: Was T.I. Going Back To Jail Good Promo For ‘No Mercy?’

JumoOff TV debates whether T.I’s imprisonment helped him sell 160K copies of No Mercy or was it the support of his fan base. While Lil Wayne was incarcerated  Rebirth sold a total of  710,000 copies and I Am Not a Human Being stands at 664,000 copies sold according to Nielsen SoundScan. Lil Wayne and T.I didn’t have any strong promo and yet their fan base still went out to support their records. Does a jail record help you sell records? Tell us your thoughts.

PICS: Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur Promotional Images

Rihanna’s Reb’l Fleur will be arriving in department stores in February, a 1.7 oz. bottle will sell for $49. The singer tells People magazine what inspired the fragrance’s name was that her grandmother  in Barbados used to call her Rebel Flower. If your wondering what took her so long to develop her fragrance she states,

“Over the years, I layered many different scents to get something that was truly my own,” she says. “But I wanted…something that said ‘Rihanna was here.’ Something delicious and special, a fragrance with subtle hints that linger and leave a sexy memory.”
