According to Deadline Hollywood, Ice Cube is set to star in the upcoming film remake of 21 Jump Street which currently has Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill on board. Once the deal is set, Cube will play the precinct captain role that oversees Tatum and Hill’s characters. Movie is set to begin filming in late April. Between this pic, a couple others down the pipeline through his Cube Vision productions and the still kickin’ NWA bio pic, Cube will have quite the busy 2011 in the film business.
