Diddy x Trina x Ciroc. In this official Slip N Slide video, Diddy is on set with Trina for her latest music video as he announces Trina is now part of the Ciroc family. As part of the family, Ciroc will be heavily promoting her album Amazing and upcoming video which will have plenty of Ciroc product placement.

Diddy continues to meld the Ciroc brand name with hip-hop lifestyle including the recent Ciroc Star music video. Is Diddy really hoping Trina can get the ladies to drink Ciroc or is he just looking for some side action of his own because Trina is looking dayam good!

Diddy has been making recent headlines for his recent interview with Wolf Blitzer in which Diddy states he wants to give back to the community by launching a business school/academy aimed at shaping the future leaders of tomorrow. Never mind Diddy’s countless run-ins with the law during his youth…it’s great to see Diddy maturing and realizing the power and influence he has in the business world. Diddy partners w/ Mastercard for New Years promotion

Diddy continues to bring his marketing genius to Ciroc as his latest New Years publicity stunt is a partnership with Mastercard and the NY Taxi and Limousine Commission. Ciroc will be distributing Diddy inspired Mastercards to citizens of New York that are good for a $15 cab ride between 11PM and 3AM on New Year’s Eve/Day.

Only Diddy would be able to pull off something this creative that both promotes his “good-will” image and his Ciroc Vodka at the same time. We look forward to similar marketing tactics and cross promotions with Ciroc when Last Train to Paris finally gets its release date.

Coming from the LA Auto Show which was a couple weeks back, rumor has it that Cadillac has been on the hunt for a new hip-hop spokesperson to help launch their CTS-V Coupe and a new flagship model. The rumors were confirmed that Cadillac will “premiere” their new flagship dubbed the XTS in next month’s Detroit Auto Show but no word on who the new spokesperson is or if there really will be one.

Common currently has a promotional deal with Cadillac which included print and TV advertising but will his deal be extended or are they looking for someone else to carry the load to launch the XTS? With Queen Latifah handling the Ford Mustang duties and Diddy wrapped up with Ciroc what other broad-appealing artists out there are big enough to take on an auto partnership? No…don’t say Kanye West.

MC Hammer lands major equity deal with Cash4Gold

What started out as a cheap gimmick for the bankrupt rapper suddenly has turned into pure gold. Cash4Gold, the growing company that buys your cheap gold teeth, jewelry, etc. has grown substantially in the past two years partly due to Hammer’s now famed Superbowl commercial (view commercial here). Hammer was paid a flat fee for his participation but now Cash4Gold has brought Hammer on as a full equity partner.

Similar to Ciroc’s deal with Diddy, as an equity partner Hammer will have a much more invested interest in promoting the company as the success of the company is directly tied to how much the company is worth. Since he now owns part of the company vs. just being paid for services, this could be the deal that gets Hammer living a lifestyle worthy of Hammer Pants.

“Our Super Bowl commercial with MC Hammer kicked off a long-standing friendship and business relationship which we look forward to continuing, whether we are working hard together, playing hard or giving back to the community through charitable work,” Cash4Gold CEO Jeff Aronson said.

Cash4Gold and Hammer will celebrate their new partnership with a lavish Super Bowl party held at the Cash4Gold vaults where the gold is melted. Also expect another Hammer Super Bowl ad your way. It’s great to see Hammer back in the entrepreneurial swing of things after his much publicized financial downfall.

Diddy x Ciroc. Diddy is never one to miss a marketing opportunity as he promotes the new Ciroc flavors on “Ellen.” Diddy and Ciroc have done this deal the right way…give an artist an equity stake rather than a flat endorsement fee and you will see them go the extra mile to push your product.

Otherwise you get your TV ad, your online banner, you exclusive music video and that’s it. Same thing every one else is doing. But Diddy…he doing big things with Ciroc and making more money for himself in the meantime.

Diddy extends business role with Ciroc Vodka

Diddy x Ciroc. Diddy will officially be expanding his business role as current 50% equity partner of Ciroc Vodka with liquor company Diageo. Since Diddy’s partnership with the Vodka brand, Ciroc has seen sales increase from 60,000 cases in the first half of 2007 to 400,000 cases during the 2008-2009 period. As a result, Diddy and Ciroc are launching two new flavors of the Vodka line with Diddy maintaining complete creative control and a whopping 50% of all profits. Unlike the majority of artist endorsements where they get paid a flat fee, Diddy is a true equity partner with Ciroc.

We showed you a glimpse of the new Ciroc flavors, coconut and red berry, last week. Expect to see even more aggressive marketing using Diddy’s image and ideas for the new marketing campaign in the near future. Ladies and gentlemen of the WoooHa World…as our site continues to gain traffic, readers and credibility (we have recently shown up everywhere from Rolling Stone to Gizmodo) the time has come for us to expand. Usually when the words “expand” and “expansion” comes up we think of that 10th member of the Wu-Tang Clan (Cappawho?) or The Memphis Grizzlies…two things we want to erase from our minds.

Fortunately for us and you, our loyal readers, we are bringing on one of the best and brightest up-and- coming hip-hop marketing minds around to help us find that hip-hop marketing/business info. that you guys come to expect from us.

Edwin St. Fort, Diddy’s former marketing & advertising intern at Blue Flame Marketing (Diddy’s marketing company) brings a fresh new take at the industry having seen first hand the Diddy x Ciroc deal come to life along with keeping up with the newest trends in hip-hop in regards to business and advertising.

Diddy x ENYCE. Diddy’s long awaited relaunch of the ENYCE Clothing line is almost set. We received a very interesting tip last night that Diddy has been carefully crafting the relaunch after the annoucement that he bought the company back in October of 2008. Between his various MTV shows, Ciroc, Sean John, and actually making music, Diddy has had to shuffle his time around to focus on the new ENYCE clothing line.

Our insiders say Diddy and team are currently focusing on the new mens and boys line first with the challenge of keeping ENYCE’s trademark style but with some new Diddy style as well. Purpose is for ENYCE to become another brand extension of Sean Combs, Co. which is Diddy’s official apparel company name but maintain a distinct style separate from Sean John.

The strategy makes sense as a way for Diddy’s empire to further expand. Check the exclusive new ENYCE logo here and it’s pretty obvious that Diddy wants the world to know who runs ENYCE now. Next phase is a complete website relaunch which we will have for you in the coming months.
