Ice Cube partners with RareInk for a art project that will feature limited edition art pieces that interprets Ice Cube’s music. Proceeds will benefit the Minority AIDS charity, an organization that Cube has previously worked with.

Not only does RareInk create amazing pieces of art that bring my albums and songs to life but a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Minority AIDS Project, an organization I have worked with over the past two decades.”

The first 25 years of Def Jam’s history will be told in a new book titled “Def Jam Recordings: The First 25 Years of the Last Great Label.” Written by Bill Adler and Dan Charnas the book will be released in September.

Def Jam Recordings: The First 25 Years of the Last Great Record Label will feature the story of a label from those who helped build it. Rick Rubin, Russell Simmons and others took part in a major piece of Hip Hop history and now, their story is being told in a book that will also feature rare artifacts and behind-the-scenes images from the first 25 years of the label.
