The long awaited trailer to the NBA endorsed romantic comedy Just Wright is finally here. Movie stars Common in his first leading role and Queen Latifah. This definitely looks like it could be a sleeper hit with cross-over appeal (no pun intended). Movie hits theaters May 14th. Yea we been hating on this remake of the classic 80’s film but I have to admit after watching the teaser and now this new full-length trailer, The Karate Kid looks different enough to stand on its own. Thank goodness they didn’t try and remake the Cobra Kai…that would be blasphemy.

Diddy has been hyping his role in the film for some time now (see Sony lot tour video) and rightfully so as he plays a major part in the movie as….a record label exec. Warning…it’s very NSFW complete with nudity, foul language and nudity. But watch it now anyways if you are at work…your boss will think you are way cooler and instantly give you a promotion. Or he/she will fire you immediately. Either way…it’s still a great trailer.

Rappers Ja-Rule, Big Daddy Kane, and Trick Daddy co-star alongside HBO’s “The Wire” stars Wood Harris and Jamie Hector in the low-budget flick Just Another Day.

It’s like Watchmen meets Goonies…but has Nicolas Cage in it so you know there should be some unintentional funny moments. Only thing missing? A hip-hop artist cameo. Kick Ass hits theaters April of this year.

I’m finally coming around to having Rampage Jackson as B.A. Baracus. For those of you who have been following the casting, The Game and Common were also in consideration for the role. Can’t wait for this movie. There is no Plan B. Movie hits theaters June 11, 2010.
