Snoop Dogg x Malice in Wonderland. Here is Part 1 of 3 behind-the-scenes footage of Snoop’s upcoming mini-movie Malice in Wonderland which is included in the upcoming deluxe “More Malice” album which drops March 23rd.

DMX x 48 Hours Till Dark. As long as DMX can stay out of jail it looks like his return to acting might be soon. According to various sources including fellow artist Omellio Sparks, DMX is set to co-star in the thriller 48 Hours Till Dark with Sparks and Fredro Starr.

“Movies and TV; we got that all lined up,” he explained in an interview. “That’s longevity there so I’m not stopping there, like you said it’s under my belt now so it don’t make sense to stop. It makes sense to keep moving forward, and that what I’m doing. Music is my first love, I gotta do that! That’s a no-brainer! I have a film coming up called 48 hours Till Dark staring DMX and Fredro Starr. DMX has his own team, Fredro has his, and I have mine. We all get tipped off about the same spot. It sort of has a Trespass theme, but it’s different. I know it’s gonna be crazy on set with them!”

No word yet on production schedules or dates on the project. At this point it still is in pre-production phase so there is plenty of time until the project actually comes together. Let’s hope DMX can get back on the right track and get his career going again.

Lil Jon x Designated Driver. Lil Jon has stepped away from the spotlight the past year or so working on some other projects including his successful Little Jonathan Winery and back behind the scenes producing records, but now he has another project coming up. Lil Jon announced yesterday that he is currently developing a reality TV show called “Designated Driver” which is part “Punk’d” part “Taxi Cab Confessions.”

In the prank show, Lil Jon will be the unannounced designated driver for unsuspecting drunks in need of a ride. They open the door to the car and get a nice….”YEEAAAAHHHH!” Yea…we’ll see if the show ever makes it to reality but at least the concept is entertaining.

DJ Envy x Sucker Free. Although sister station MTV no longer plays videos you can still get plenty of video action over at MTV2. The station is set to bring back hip-hop videos with a new relaunched “Sucker Free” series hosted by DJ Envy. The now daily show kicked off yesterday and runs daily at 3pm EST/PST. Check the video preview for all the Sucker Free you can handle.

Akon x Ra.One. Akon goes global with his latest film deal where he is tapping into the highly lucrative Bollywood market. He was recently in Mumbai to help promote his latest project where he will record a song for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming superhero film Ra.One. Check the video where Akon talks about the project with the cast.

E-40 x Clash of the Titans. This is one combination we never would have thought of. E-40 is teaming up with Warner Brothers’ upcoming movie Clash of the Titans by taking part in an online contest to see if you can spit his rhymes better than him. JaRule x I’m In Love With a Church Girl. You know those movies and TV shows where the title pretty much explains the whole plot? Yea this is one of them. Kinda like “Lost.” What’s “Lost” you ask? People who are lost. What is I’m In Love With a Church Girl about? A dude (JaRule) who falls in love with a church girl. Nuff said.

Ok to thicken the plot, Ja plays a drug dealer who must decide between his old school thug life or a new life of love, romance and Adrienne Bailon who plays Ja’s love interest. With that said…we say go for the thug life. The movie is being produced by independent movie company Reverence Gospel Media and starts filming in Northern California in May.

Kanye West x The Cleveland Show. Proving that he actually does have a sense of humor, Kanye West will be making a guest voice appearance on an upcoming episode of “The Cleveland Show.” According to EW, in the episode, Kanye voices a 19-year-old local hero named Kenny West, who gets into a freestyle battle with the show’s Cleveland Brown, Jr. over a young woman voiced by Taraji P. Henson.

T-Pain x Adult Swim. The long awaited T-Pain created cartoon special “Freaknik: The Musical” is fast approaching. Here is the latest clip from Adult Swim which features Freaknik (T-Pain) and DJ Drama. This looks like classic material. Can’t wait to see the whole thing. Show airs on Adult Swim March 7th, 11:30 EST.

A Tribe Called Quest x Beats, Rhymes & Life. Actor and filmmaker Michael Rapaport has been working on his documentary Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest for some time now with the promise that it will be ready for 2010. Looks like Rapaport is making good on that promise as he has launched the official ATribeCalledQuestMovie.com website and gives the update that although the film has been two years in the making, it currently is in the final editing stages.

Check this new clip from the film where Ludacris gives his take on ATCQ and how the group has influenced today’s artists and the current state of hip-hop. No release date is planned yet for the movie but it definitely will make its way around the film festival circuit this year.
