We might be tough on Bow Wow and Soulja Boy but we can’t hate on the mass amounts of cash these two have earned by exploiting the dumbness of America. Bow Wow reveals to Vibe that Nicki Minaj was almost cast as Nikki Swayze in the movie Lottery Ticket.

“Nicki Minaj was close to being Nikki in the movie and I tried to do that,” says Bow Wow. “ I spoke to [Lottery director] Eric White when we were in casting and said we should get Nicki to come in and audition for the part. Then, I called Nicki and told her, ‘I’d think you be dope’ for the role.”

Minaj did audition, but the role went to Marí instead and the rest is Hollywood history.“ I thought Nicki did good a good job, but unfortunately it didn’t work out,” he adds.

As part of his promotions and publicity campaign for the upcoming comedy Lottery Ticket, Bow Wow will be donning the signature black and white stripes of a Foot Locker employee and will be working a shift at the sneaker store today at the 120 W. 34th St. location in New York. In the film, Bow Wow’s character is a Foot Locker employee who finds out he’s holding a winning lottery ticket worth $350 million dollars. Foot Locker is an official partner in the film which includes ample branding coverage in the film and outside promotions like the one going on today. Lottery Ticket hits theaters Aug. 20th.

Looks like Bow Wow might actually be making good on his promise to the world to return to Hollywood and be a major acting force. He landed the lead role in the upcoming comedy Lottery Ticket (see video) and now is confirmed to star in Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Big Happy Family. Movie centers on the life of Miss Shirley, a single mother, who has just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. With the help of Madea, she assembles her grown children (one being Bow Wow) for one final reunion. Big Happy Family is set for an April 22, 2011 release date.
