Clipse x Play Cloths. Pusha T and Malice release this new line of Play Cloths summer accessories just in time for vacation. According to Hypebeast, passport holders, card holders and wallets with subtle exteriors are all in line in the next few weeks with a mid-May release set for the collection.

Clipse x KAWS. Rumors have been swirling around in the urban fashion industry that Clipse is prepping to take their Play Cloths line to the next level and have been collaborating with some big-timers in the streetwear industry for exclusive lines. KAWS, who is EVERYWHERE these days, is rumored to be the first Clipse collaborator.

Clipse mentioned it on their blog and now here is the first image of the Clipse x KAWS collab logo. Rumor has it an exclusive line of tees will be announced soon and sold online only. We will keep you updated. Let’s hope the tees won’t run for over $100 and be limited to a run of 10.

Clipse x Play Cloths. Clipse and their Play Cloths team were busy promoting the clothing line at the MAGIC convention in Vegas but were also gearing up for their new Spring 2009 collection release. We previously showed off a couple of pieces from the collection which shows a new direction with a clean and sleek design. Taking a page out of the Pharrell’s Book of Street Wear marketing, The Clipse have developed a nice marketing campaign centered around a simple web store and web exclusives. Well now Play Cloths gives us a sneak peek at their upcoming Spring 2009 line. Personally I like the way they are going. Not too extreme but it still has style. Something people would realistically wear.

Following the BBC/Ice Cream business model, Clipse’s Play Cloths clothing line drops another online exclusive as they release their Presidential Inauguration tee in celebration of Obama coming into the White House office on 1/20. Clipse launched their Play Cloths clothing line at the end of November to much excitement but few fans were able to actually purchase the clothing since the in-store distribution was fairly limited. Well Pusha T and Malice have solved that problem as they have just launched the Play Cloths online store. The store features the entire Holiday ‘08 collection as well as some exclusives. After years of development The Clipse are finally set to launch their official clothing line this coming Friday by kicking things off with a release party in their hometown of Norfolk, VA.
