Clipse teams up with Casio for Play Cloths G-Shock

Clipse x Casio.
Still amazing how Casio and their G-Shock line has been able to maintain their popularity with street wear fashion and culture. Part of the reason is due to their increasing number of collaborations with street wear stores but also fashion labels and artists. In this case Casio teams with Clipse to drop this limited Play Cloths G-Shock DW-6900. The watch is part of Casio’s Sprin 2010 collection and will be available next month. Via: HighSnobiety

Play Cloths x YELE Haiti Relief Fund exclusive tee

Screen shot 2010-01-16 at 10.33.52 AM
Clipse’s street wear line Play Cloths and Wyclef’s YELE Haiti Earthquake fund have collaborated for this “Haitian Jack” limited tee where 100% of proceeds will go to the relief fund. Shirt retails for $38 and is available only until 1/22. Although YELE has recently come under fire for some alleged shady tax evasion practices, there is no denying that it has taken someone like Wyclef to get people here in the states to really take notice of the situation.

WoooHa.com supports Wyclef and his mission as an ambassador to Haiti and to helping all those in need over there. If you are not comfortable supporting YELE.org please do donate to another charity then that will also help out the Haiti situation. Peace.

Play Cloths x Triple Fat Goose Jacket

Clipse x Triple Fat Goose. Clipse and their clothing line Play Cloths have teamed up with Triple Fat Goose for this limited jacket that can be seen in their latest video “Popular Demand” (see video here). The jacket will retail for $300 and can be pre-ordered now. Make sure to get on it quick though because only 200 were made in production.

Similar to Pharrell’s BBC/Ice Cream business model, Clipse has been able to turn their Play Cloths into a successful clothing line by limiting production and distribution costs but maintaining high profit margins on their apparel. In return, they have been able to focus their efforts on quality product and partnerships rather than mass produced cheap looking street wear. Via: HighSnobiety
