EXCLUSIVE: Diddy unveils relaunched ENYCE Clothing logo

Diddy x ENYCE. Diddy’s long awaited relaunch of the ENYCE Clothing line is almost set. We received a very interesting tip last night that Diddy has been carefully crafting the relaunch after the annoucement that he bought the company back in October of 2008. Between his various MTV shows, Ciroc, Sean John, and actually making music, Diddy has had to shuffle his time around to focus on the new ENYCE clothing line.

Our insiders say Diddy and team are currently focusing on the new mens and boys line first with the challenge of keeping ENYCE’s trademark style but with some new Diddy style as well. Purpose is for ENYCE to become another brand extension of Sean Combs, Co. which is Diddy’s official apparel company name but maintain a distinct style separate from Sean John.

The strategy makes sense as a way for Diddy’s empire to further expand. Check the exclusive new ENYCE logo here and it’s pretty obvious that Diddy wants the world to know who runs ENYCE now. Next phase is a complete website relaunch which we will have for you in the coming months.

Diddy’s potential Guinness & Red Stripe beer endorsement deal

Diddy x Guiness. Diddy has been accused of cheating on his multi-million dollar Ciroc endorsement deal with Diageo in the past but now it looks like his next move in the liquor business is a little more out in the open. According to our friends over at Advertising Age, Diddy has held talks with Diageo once again but this time to work of the Guinness and Red Stripe beer brands that is also owns.

There is no indication of when the beer deal will be struck, but it will most likely focus on pushing Guinness and Red Stripe further with the African-American beer drinker and the hip-hop/urban lifestyle consumers as well. Once we hear more you know we will have the full story. It makes sense for Diageo though as they firmly believe their investment in Diddy on the Ciroc deal has been worth it and hopefully Diddy can extend the brand equity of Guinness and Red Stripe in the same manner.

VIDEO: Diddy takes a tour of the Sony Studios lot

Diddy x Get Him To The Greek. Diddy is already starting his self-promotion and marketing of his film role in the upcoming Judd Apatow produced film Get Him To The Greek (set clips here). In Diddy’s latest video here he takes you on a tour of the Culver City, CA Sony Studios backlot where they are filming. Be warned…the video is shaky. Like Cloverfield shaky.

Diddy x Get Him to the Greek. Check Diddy on the set of his latest movie Get Him to the Greek which is produced by Judd Apatow. He is on set here with MTV and Jonah Hill and plays a big-time music executive who must get his intern (Hill) to take his biggest artist to a concert. Movie hits theaters in April 2010.

PICS: Diddy putting up a fight on the set of new movie

Diddy x Get Him to the Greek. CL has some great photos of Diddy on the set of the new Judd Apatow produced comedy Get Him to the Greek. In the movie Diddy plays a pissed off record label exec…looks like he is taking out his Day 26 and Danity Kayne aggressions out in this scene which was shot in Vegas.

Judd Apatow says Diddy is funny

Diddy x Get Him to the Greek. As we reported a couple of weeks back, Diddy will be playing a big-time music mogul in the Judd Apatow comedy Get Him To the Greek. Apparently Apatow was a little nervous about Diddy acting in a comedy but his worries subsided at their script reading.

“We did a table read and I thought to myself, ‘I wonder how funny [Sean’s] going to be and how much help he’s going to need,’ Apatow told MTV News. “And I found out the answer was none. He needs no help. He was riotously funny. As a man with one skill, I was annoyed that he was also funny. You shouldn’t be allowed to be good at so many things.”

Movie is actually a spin-off of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. We think Diddy has had plenty of comedy experience with his Twitters and YouTube posts though. He will do just fine.

Diddy is looking for the new face of Sean John

Diddy x Sean John. Diddy is currently on the prowl for the new face of Sean John’s menswear. Nelly still is holding things down as official spokesperson for the Sean John underwear line but Diddy is looking for new male models and another publicity opportunity with his “Face The Future” model contest.

Check the official site for details as the public will get to choose the new face of the Sean John Fall/Winter 2009. Too bad Hansel and Zoolander retired from the game.

Are Hip-Hop and Liquor marketing promotions over?

Liquor companies and rappers have had a long standing relationship from “Pass the Couvasier” to “Gin and Juice” to recent deals like Diddy and Ciroc or Dr. Dre and Drinks America (Check our Rappers x Liquor Company profiles for more details). One of the most recent partnerships is between Swizz Beatz and Hennessey’s new label Hennessey Black…but could the liquor and hip-hop party be over?

Moet Hennessy, parent company of the Champagne, cognac and other major spirits recently posted their first quarter 2009 results and they are not pretty. According to the statements, Moet Hennessy Champagne sales were down 35% and other premium liquor sales down as much as 25% due to the struggling economy.

With profits down, many marketers suggest cutting back on expensive marketing and promotions as the first line of defense. Will this mean the end to those extensive hip-hop artist branded liquor company websites, online shorts, exclusive concerts and multi-million dollar endorsement deals? Or do liquor companies need hip-hop support in order to survive? In the end it’s the consumer that decides…unless Diddy brainwashes us all.

Diddy x I Want to Work For Diddy 2. Go the open casting call if you dare. Info at WorkForPDiddy.com. Filming begins this Summer.

Diddy’s new Twitter campaign slogan “Lock In”

Diddy lands role as label exec in Judd Apatow comedy

Diddy x Get Him to the Greek. Diddy has just landed himself a very nice role in the upcoming Forgetting Sarah Marshall spin-off called Get Him to the Greek. The Judd Apatow produced movie follows a record label intern named Aaron (Jonah Hill) who is assigned the job of transporting a crazy rock star named Aldous Snow (Russell Brand, reprising his role from Sarah Marshall) from London to a concert at Los Angeles’ famed Greek Theater.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Diddy has secured the role of Sergio, the record label exec who signed Aldous Snow….and the only Black man in history named Sergio. Seriously though, it’s good that Diddy isn’t trying to stretch too far on this one. The movie and the plot look interesting. I hear Diddy’s role is asking him to be over-the-top loud and ego driven. Shouldn’t be a stretch. Let’s go people!!!

Diddy launches interactive “Last Train to Paris” iPhone app

Diddy x iPhone. I swear, Diddy should get an award for his marketing abilities with the internet and today’s technology. That guy is a master at the Twitter game much like I am the master of NBA 2K9 on the PS3. Well now Diddy is jumping on the iPhone app tactic to push his upcoming album “Last Train to Paris.”

The app is pretty simple. You just take a photo of yourself, write a quick message on the app and send it. Your photo and message then becomes part of a bigger train collage where you can view other people’s photos and messages. Alright! LET’S GO PEOPLE!!! (the twitter fam will get it). Props to Clyde for heads up. He always brings the heat.

Diddy’s high concept “Last Train to Paris” website

Diddy x Last Train to Paris. I know I give Diddy a hard time but the guy sure knows how to market himself and lately he has been taking his internet marketing game to a whole new level. Yea there is his YouTube channel, but even his Twitter site is blowing up due to an aggressive online campaign and he also completley revamped Ciroc’s site as well. Now Diddy is taking his net knowledge over to promote his next upcoming album “Last Train to Paris.”

Diddy has recently launched this high concept teaser site at LastTrainToParis.com which at the moment just contains links to his other sites and a mock train ticket where you can fill out your info. Our sources state an update for the site will be made in the coming month.

Diddy x  Sean John. The one time you will see me posting photos of a little kid. Diddy has decided to get his family involved with his latest Sean John ads. The new ad campaign features his son Christian Combs AKA Little Diddy. I wonder how Diddy’s five six seven other kids feel about this. Luckily for Christian he looks like a spitting image of his dad. These ads are currently running in various print publications.

Diddy settles lawsuit with Louis Vuitton

Diddy x Louis Vuitton. Remember the days when hip-hop and hi-end luxury goods companies like LV and Gucci co-existed in harmony? Well those days are long gone. Lately, LV has been going after the likes of T.I. and Diddy like they were some 21-year old kids selling knock-off purses in a Singapore shopping mall. A couple months back T.I. couldn’t release his video “Swing Ya Rag” because of the unofficial use of
