Carol Daughters whose high list of investors include Steve Stoute, Mary J. Blige and Jay-Z has announced the faces to their multiracial campaign. The new spokeswomen will be Cassie (African American, Mexican and Filipina), Selita Ebanks (Native American, Irish and African-American), and Solange (African American and French Creole). Lisa Price, founder of the revolutionary hair and skin care line, designed the new campaign ad to reflect the recent demographic shift reported by the U.S. Census.

Looks like Jay-Z and his IT folks didn’t account for such major traffic with the debut of his new lifestyle site Life+Times. Although it was working fine this morning, the website is currently down at the same time that major press is starting to blog and write about it. Not a good thing. But at least from the promo video you can see how flashy and nice Life+Times will be. Kanye…take that!

It’s official. Jay-Z has signed alt-rocker Santigold to his Roc Nation management group. She is no stranger to Jay-Z having worked with him on 2009′s “Brooklyn We Go Hard.” Santigold shared news of her signing on Twitter:
“It’s official! Made the change to Roc Nation Management!!!
No official word if the deal includes her actually signing with the record label as Roc Nation the label and Roc Nation the management group are two separate business entities.
