I WANT THAT: Kanye West x Murakami Golden Bear

Kanye and Murakami have always been buddy buddy especially since the famed Japanese artists designed the now infamous Kanye Bear. This gold Kanye Bear sculpture was designed by Kanye and Murakami and is for sale…for the right price of course. No we don’t know what that price is…we just know we can’t afford it. Via: Hypebeast

PICS: Kanye West x Louis Vuitton official shoe line photo shoot

Kanye West x Louis Vuitton. Now that the Kanye West x Nike Air Yeezy hype is over it’s time to move on to Kanye’s next sneaker project with Louis Vuitton. NiceKicks has a nice photo shoot of the upcoming kicks. Here are some select pics but head over to the site for more.

VIDEO: Kanye West x Louis Vuitton video shoot

Kanye West x Louis Vuitton. Street wear website High Snobiety has been on a Kanye x LV sneaker kick in celebration for the upcoming official release. Here is a new video of the photo shoot they did highlighting the Kanye LV sneakers. LV is taking pre-orders now so make sure to spend your rent on em soon.

VIDEO: Drake talks about Kanye directing his first video

Kanye West for once will be BEHIND the camera as he will be directing Drake’s video to “Best I Ever Had.” Drake talks about the experience here to MTV including saying that Kanye “oozes creativity.”

I WANT THAT: Kanye West’s custom “Black-Out” Rolex

Kanye West x Rolex. Although Kanye does not have an endorsement deal with Rolex (at least one that is public), he has mentioned numerous times his love for the luxury watch brand as well for the custom watch designs of company Black-Out Concept. The company designed Kanye’s custom Rolex which is literally blacked-out.

“It looks hard, it looks really cool,” Kanye explained. “It’s a new take on a classic watch.” He also likes the fact that they take a Rolex and literally “paint it black.”

The watches run anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000. Check the official website out. Here are pics of Kanye’s designs.

VIDEO: Nike’s Air Yeezy commercial

Just so there is no incorrect information out there my sources are saying this is NOT an officially approved version of a Nike Air Yeezy commercial. It is a “spec TV spot” that a production company created in hopes of landing an account with Nike. This will most likely never make it to nation-wide broadcast but regardless it’s a pretty well done ad. Woooha!

I WANT THAT: Nike Air Yeezys origami style

Apparently the paper model industry is a hot one these days. And all the rage now? These hand crafted Air Yeezys made out of paper. The detail is pretty crazy…even got all the colorways. I can do the folding crane. That’s about it. Via: Hypebeast

VIDEO: The official trailer to “The Cleveland Show”

Get ready for this one folks. The “Family Guy” spinoff is finally here. And yes….Kanye West will be appearing in the new season.

Kayne’s book “Thank You And You’re Welcome” is not new

Kanye West x Thank You And You’re Welcome. Most hip-hop sites have already covered the fact that Kanye West is releasing his “Kanye-ism” book “Thank You And You’re Welcome” to book stores nation-wide on July 7th. Interesting thing though is this book has actually been in the market place for over a year. All the press releases and hype surrounding the book have failed to really mention that they were giving away this book to EVERY ONE in attendance during last year’s Kanye Glow in the Dark tour.

An estimated 150,000+ Kanye West fans were given the book as they exited the concert venues across the nation. Is it really a good marketing tactic to give this away to the fans who would actually pay for it? Well if you still are interested you can get the book for $8 at Amazon.

VIDEO: Kris Allen (American Idol) performs Kanye’s “Heartless”

Minus the auto-tune, big production beats and swagger. Yet Kris still kills it with just a good voice and a guitar. No I’m not a stan. I’m not even watching it this year. Via: The Rap Up

Kanye West REALLY REALLY does not use Twitter

Kanye West x Twitter. Someone needs to take the CAPS LOCK away from this guy. Kanye goes on another rant about how he doesn’t use Twitter yet the website still lets all the Ye’ imposters continue faking. He kinda does have a point though. Read for yourself directly from Kayne’s blog….

FRIDAY FACT: Kanye’s Pastelle.com site is 2,439 days old

Today’s FRIDAY FACT is all about Kanye West’s very elusive clothing line Pastelle. Did you know that the Pastelle.com website actually went live waaay back on Sept 3, 2002? Ok so it doesn’t make the site seven years old. It’s actually 2,439 days old which is equivalent to six years, four months and five days.

And how many times has it been updated in that time span? Twice. But still we are left with no clothing line. Come on Kanye! Quit trying to get in bed with Nike and LV and just launch your line already! How many bets on that by day 3,000 the site still will not be updated with actual clothing?

Kanye West wants to launch own shoe company

Kanye’s shoe collabs with Louis Vuitton and Nike have both received tons of hype and press this year but apparently Kanye still is not satisfied. Infact, he is sounding a bit disgruntled at the fact that both Nike and LV will not give him a deal to launch an entire shoe line under Kanye’s own label. He recently told Complex:

“I wish Nike would give me a deal, I wish Louis would give me a deal. Since that hasn’t happened yet, I am in the process of making my own company from scratch to put out to my people.”

Is Kanye talking about his much-anticipated Pastelle clothing line? That clothing line has been more elusive than Bigfoot and the Lochness Monster combined but maybe it will now have a footwear component to it. Who knows but Kanye clearly is working on something. Get your kicks here.

Jim Jones would rather jump off a cliff than wear Air Yeezys

This might be the first intelligent thing that Jim Jones has said in a long time. It’s good to know I’m not taking crazy pills here and am not the only person who thinks the Air Yeezys are hideous. Via: RR

Kanye West shoe ads get rejected by Louis Vuitton

Kanye West x Louis Vuitton. Kanye told the world on his blog that these were photos (see photos here) for his Louis Vuitton shoeline so the internet (including us) assumed it was for an LV ad campaign. We thought this a bit strange considering there is a naked Amber Rose in one of the ads and she doesn’t exactly personify what LV stands for.

Well Bossip is revealing that LV indeed is not using any of these ads for any future ad campaign and that the ads are most likely for a unnamed magazine photoshoot. This gives me hope that LV still has an ounce of decency left. I’m sure Kanye’s ghostwriter will comment soon.

The Nike Air Yeezy “Gay Fish” Editions

Kanye West x Air Yeezys. Some how I don’t think Kanye will be wearing these any time soon. Check the Air Yeezy “Gay Fish” colorways that you can buy for the cool price of $1,500. Trey and Matt of South Park should buy em though. How is it that the “Do you like fish sticks?” joke is still funny? Admit it. You still laugh everytime one your friends says it. Via: SmartenUpNas
