Mary J. Blige x Gucci. Mary J. has just teamed up with fashion house Gucci for a limited edition watch with proceeds going to The Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) which is Blige’s own charity. The black PVD twirl watch which features a face framed in black diamonds will go for $1,895 and debuts at Gucci’s Fifth Avenue store on September 16th. Via: Luxist

Since the depature of Paula Abdul on “American Idol” the show has had guest celebrities fill in her spot. The latest star to judge along side Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson will be Mary J. Blige.

People.com reported that Blige  will be a guest judge when the show heads to Atlanta for auditions.

Mary J. Blige’s 1st Annual Foundation For The Advancement of Women Now fundraiser, intimate dinner and auction was held in New York City at Barbetta Restaurant. Attendees included Kevin Liles, Steve Stoute, Gayle King, Ciara and others.

Mary J. Blige is in the current AT&T commercial titled “shedding styles”. The commercial depicts Blige shedding into different styles of clothing while her new single “The One” produced by Darkchild plays in the background.
