And they fucked up with the Belly 2. All they had was the title. Someone bought the title. Got people thinking it’s a part 2 to our movie when it’s really not. It’s just the name Belly 2. But, I been working with a couple of writers man where we can bring it back. A part 2 with a crazy story.

Method Man continues to build up his acting resume landing a role in the upcoming comedy The Sitter. Movie stars Jonah Hill who takes a babysitting job and ends up taking three kids he’s watching across town on a mission to buy drugs for his girlfriend. Of course things get nuts and hilarity ensues. No word yet on what Meth’s actual role is but my money is on “drug dealer.”

Here are the first official first look pics and the movie poster for the indie horror/thriller flick The Mortician 3D starring none other than Method Man as the mortician. This is his first leading role in a non-comedy (if How High qualifies as comedy). No word on when The Mortician 3D will hit theaters or if it will go direct-to-video. Method Man lends a helping hand as he narrates this instructional Def Jam Rapstar video. Would have been nice if Redman kicked off the second half of this vid. Still…even though rhythm based games are going down the toilet it’s no secret Def Jam is betting big on Rapstar.

Meth and Red filmed this viral video for “Def Jam Rapstar” during their E3 Convention promotional appearances in Los Angeles last week. Def Jam’s previous strategy was to use up-and-coming artists to push the “inspiration” of becoming a “Def Jam Rapstar” but now Meth and Red challenge if you even have what it takes.

Method Man x The Mortician 3D. Meth has joined the cast of the indie UK produced movie The Mortician 3D. Movie is bankrolled for a $6 million budget and does not have U.S. distribution yet but is currently set to start filming in Louisiana. Currently pegged as a gritty urban drama, one would be surprised it’s getting the 3D treatment usually reserved for action films, horror or family movies.

Our sources though involved with the film state that it will actually be a lot grittier, darker and with elements of horror which compelled them to shoot in 3D. Afterall, it is a movie about a mortician. Meth will play the lead as the messed up mortician. Check the official synopsis after the jump.
