Soulja Boy x Rompler. As if the T-Pain iPhone app and Timbaland’s “Beaterator” PSP game were not enough, now Soulja Boy has released his iPhone app that lets you re-mix and alter his current tracks. Here is a video demonstration of the app by the developer Rompler.

Under the deal, Soulja Boy will offer up “Crank That,” “Hey You There,” and “Turn My Swag On”—available as a Romplr app. Along with the songs, Soulja Boy included seven other music samples as raw material fans can use to remix the tracks. According to Billboard, once created, fans can use the Romplr system to record and share their creations through Facebook Connect, or via e-mail, or post to Romplr.com, which the company is hoping to turn into an interactive music community.

Soulja Boy is following in the footsteps of Lil Wayne and will be performing on “The View” with Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, etc. I wonder what all the moms who watch this show really think of these rappers showing up.¬† Soulja Boy will be performing “Turn My Swag On” on May 25th.

Soulja Boy x Fast & Furious. Universal Pictures has recently released this new trailer to the upcoming Fast & Furious which is the latest installment from the racing/action movie franchise. Uni’s marketing team is getting praise around here in Hollywood for their creative use of full length clips within the trailer.

At the same time, online fans are blasting the trailer for using Soulja Boy’s “Crank That” even though it’s a remix. WoooHa has been told from a source close to the film that Universal is sticking by the song for the marketing campaign as they are using “Crank That” in their national TV ads as well. Bad move? You decide. At least it works better than “Kiss Me Through the Phone.”

Soulja Boy x iPhone. Soulja Boy continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. His single “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” has been heating up and he’s taking advantage of it. In this video, Soulja Boy introduces two new iPhone apps that are now available. First one is based on his current single and is available for $0.99 and the second called TellEmTV is free. Soulja Boy x Cricket Wireless Mobile. Soulja Boy might not get much love with the hip-hop community but he sure knows how to strike a business deal, and more important, strike while the proverbial iron is hot. He already has a shoe deal in place with Yums and an Xbox 360 game deal and now he officially has a wireless mobile deal in place with new company Cricket Wireless.

Under the deal terms, Cricket Wireless will use Soulja Boy’s new single “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” to drive users to their newly launched mobile music service. The music service will allow Cricket customers to purchase songs and download them directly to their mobile phones and also on to their computers. As part of the deal, Soulja Boy will promote Cricket Wireless with concerts and appearances. Oh…and he gets a nice royalty every time someone downloads the song for $1.99. Some might doubt his staying ability, but there is no doubt Soulja Boy is getting paid while he can. Maybe he should invest in an alarm for his house now…just saying. Via: ThisIs50

Soulja Boy signed on as an official endorser of the Yums shoe brand not too far back as the deal called for an exclusive shoe deal where designed his own Yums shoe line and would also support the company through media and promotional appearances. Here is the newest TV spot featuring Soulja Boy that is currently running on national TV.

Although buying media on TV is a lot cheaper these days, it still is relatively expensive for a smaller shoe brand like Yums. However, Yums partered up with Finish Line for distribution and the ad buy is also supported by Finish Line to help off set the media costs. Props to InMyStateofMind for the heads up.

Although he was just robbed at his house a couple days ago, Soulja Boy was still in a good enough of a mood to announce his newest business venture, an animated web series. The viral series is called “Soulja Boy Tell’em: The Animated Series,” and follows an animated Soulja Boy who enjoys hip-hop celeb status but is then forced to return to high school. The rapper then does whatever he can to get out of his daily school routine while avoiding the school’s principal — played by a live action Alfonso Ribiero (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) — yes, this is what Carlton has resorted to.

“I always wanted to do a cartoon since I was younger,” the rapper said. “I am excited because I think that the subject matter will give my fans what they would expect from me.”

The animated series is now available on his website, Souljaboytellem.com.

While Soulja Boy’s second album came out at a low #43 on the charts, he is still doing whatever he can to get some longevity out of it. This includes doing the video to his next single “Grind On” completely through his Xbox 360 avatar

He pretty much has his avatar sing the entire song while the avatar does a couple of wardrobe changes. Talk about a low budget video but at least it is pretty original. Soulja Boy has some incentive to hype up the Xbox 360 since he also has a video game deal in place with the platform as well.

Similar to The Game and Bow Wow, Soulja Boy is pretty boastful when it comes to his Xbox 360 skills. Infact, he claims to be the best player at Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, GTA 4 or Gears of War on the face of the planet. But this time, Soulja Boy’s video game ego has done some good. According to Complex, when Soulja Boy boasted his gaming skills, numerous video game blogs and sites picked up on it which led to gaming companies and publishers approaching him about working on a game. Soulja Boy states:

“Soulja Boy video game is coming for Xbox 360 in 2009. After I put the Xbox 360 challenge up on the Internet, it was over all these video game sites. And a couple video game companies hit me up on my email because I put the email on there too. And hit me up like, ‚ÄúBlah, blah, blah, blah.‚Äù So I was like, ‚ÄúOh snaps!‚Äù So I forwarded to my management, and they forwarded to my label. And now we‚Äôre doing the video game.”

No word on what the game will be called or what the premise will be. Lets just hope it’s not a dancing game. Or a rapping game. Or has anything really to do with Souja Boy. I kid I kid. Kid gets mad props for doing his business thing at such a young age.
